Brands killing it visually on social media

When thinking of brands doing a great job on social media for leveraging visual content, some of my personal favorites are:

National Geographic is renowned for their outstanding photography - more than 48 million followers on Instagram and more than 40 million page likes on Facebook indicate their incredible popularity when it comes to visually captivating content. The star of their visual content is our earth – nature, animals and people living on it make for the most compelling and breathtaking content one could think of. This way, they easily leverage engagement - connecting and fascinating people of all kinds.

Jetsetter is a travel platform for hotel bookings and deals, but it’s not just an ordinary travel site. Its featured visual content is more that of a chic magazine-style and visually highly attracting.

Their Instagram profile and Pinterest site are a great source of inspiration - even if you’re not in need of a hotel, it’s just perfect to day-dream.

The luxury fashion brand with its rich history and captivating legacy has been fascinating people for decades. All of that and the Chanel icons serve as great input for story-telling and a killer visual content strategy. Chanel’s Instagram profile is featuring lots of video content, even using color schemes to visually organize the page.

Endless creativity is key to the brand’s enormous popularity and let Chanel stand out as number one among the many other high fashion brands.
